- What do I receive when I order a storybook?
- Every order includes a beautifully illustrated digital storybook, starting at just $20 for 6 pages. Choose additional pages to tell a longer story. You'll receive a downloadable PDF and a shareable reading link to enjoy with family and friends.
- Can I order a hardcover copy?
- Absolutely! Hardcover printing is available for storybooks with 11 pages or more starting at $35. You can order a beautiful printed keepsake separately, even after receiving your digital book. Printing and shipping costs are additional. Shorter books are available digitally only.
- Do I have to write the story myself?
- Not at all! Simply type your memories, upload an existing family history or PDF, photograph handwritten pages, or record yourself telling the story. We'll help transform your memories into a beautifully written and illustrated storybook. No writing experience needed!
- How many photographs do I need?
- Just one clear photograph of each person you want illustrated is enough to get started! You can upload additional family photographs to help bring your loved ones to life. For the best results, choose images where faces are clearly visible.
- Can I use old or faded family photographs?
- Absolutely! Old, faded, and black-and-white photographs are welcome. Even a phone photo of an old printed picture can work. The clearer the facial features, the better the likeness, so choose the sharpest photograph you have of each person.
- Can I include multiple family members in one storybook?
- Yes! You can feature up to 4 family members as illustrated characters per page in any one picture. Max is 10 family members per book. Whether it's grandparents, parents, children, or ancestors, we'll help bring their memories and experiences to life in a beautiful keepsake.
- Does a real person review my storybook?
- Yes! Every storybook goes through a human review before delivery. We check the story and illustrations for obvious issues and make corrections when needed, helping ensure your family's precious memories are thoughtfully represented.
- Can I request changes or corrections?
- Of course! We want your family's story to be told accurately. Every order includes one free round of minor text corrections, such as fixing names, dates, or important family details. Simply contact us within 7 days of receiving your digital storybook. Major story revisions or illustration changes may involve an additional fee. Printed books cannot be changed once production begins.
- How long does it take to receive my storybook?
- Your digital storybook is emailed to you once it's created and reviewed. Printed hardcover books require additional production and shipping time. Printing typically takes 3–5 business days, with shipping time depending on your location and delivery method. We recommend ordering ahead for birthdays, holidays, and special occasions.
- What happens to my family photographs and memories?
- Your family's memories are precious, and we take their privacy seriously. Your photographs and story details are used to create and deliver your personalized storybook, not to train AI models. Our production partner securely processes your information and retains it according to its privacy policy, generally for 365 days after delivery unless a different retention period applies. You may request earlier deletion.
